One of the tools most commonly used by systems administrator and wed designers is phpMyAdmin.  The phpMyAdmin interface provides a web driven graphical interface that is used in manipulating and managing mysql databases.

The middle tier of hosting options provided by Liquid Web are VPS packages (Virtual Private Server). VPS packages are designed for sites with low to medium traffic, small web hosts or designers with a small number of websites, or as a staging or development environment for testing a new application.

One of the more common management tasks performed on web servers is restarting services (such as your web server daemon, mail daemon, FTP server, or DNS service).
