Registration Flow for Free Courses
With the new registration process enabled, learners enrolling in free courses will see an updated and streamlined sign-up experience.
How It Works
- Course Page Access
- Courses with Access Mode: Free display a “Login to Enroll” button if the user is logged out.
- Logged-in users will instead see a “Take This Course” button under the Get Started section.
- Enrollment Buttons
- Clicking either button triggers a popup window.
- Users can either:
- Log In (if they already have an account).
- Register for a New Account.
- Registration Page
- New users who click Register an Account are redirected to the registration page you previously created.
- The page includes an order review section at the top.
- Returning users can switch to the Login tab at any time.
- Registration Success
- After registering, learners are automatically logged in.
- They are redirected to the Success Page, which displays a “Take This Course” button.
- Clicking the button brings them back to the course page, confirming they are now enrolled in the course.
Why This Matters
This updated registration flow simplifies access for learners by combining login and registration into one seamless process. It reduces friction and ensures learners can get into your courses quickly—whether they’re new or returning users.
Tip: Use the registration success page as a launchpad—include links to “All Courses” or a welcome message to guide learners into their learning journey.
