How to Enable and Use the Bookmark Feature in the LearnDash App
Introduction
The Bookmark feature in the LearnDash App allows users to save their favorite WordPress blog posts to a personalized screen for quick access. This not only improves user experience but also increases engagement and content retention.
This guide walks you through enabling bookmarks, adding the screen to your app menu, and how users can bookmark and manage their saved posts.
Enabling Bookmarks
- In your WordPress Dashboard, go to LearnDash App > Settings > Blog Posts.
- Check Enable Bookmarking.

- Check Enable Bookmarking.

- Click Save Changes.
Add to Tab Bar or More Menu
- Go to LearnDash App > Menus.

- Under the LearnDash App, select Bookmarks.
- Click Add to Menu.

- Rearrange or publish the menu if needed.
- Refresh the app to apply changes.
Bookmarking Blog Posts
Saving a Post
- Open the LearnDash App and go to the Blog Posts screen.
- Tap the bookmark icon next to a post.
- The icon will change from outlined to filled, confirming it’s saved.
Viewing Bookmarked Posts
- Navigate to the Bookmarks screen via the Tab Bar or More menu.
- View your saved posts.
- If empty, the message “No Posts Found” will appear.
- If empty, the message “No Posts Found” will appear.
Removing a Bookmark
- Go to the Bookmarks screen.
- Tap the filled bookmark icon on the post you want to remove.
- The icon will revert to outlined, and the post will disappear from the list.

Q: Why isn’t the bookmark icon showing on posts?
A: Make sure Enable Bookmarking is turned on under Settings > Blog Posts, then restart the app.
