Maintenance Release
This updated version of Events Calendar Pro includes some tweaks and bug fixes related to Summary View.
As always, we recommend updating on a staging site, just to be safe, but it should all be smooth sailing.
The Events Calendar Pro 5.8.0 and higher is only compatible with Events Calendar 5.8.0 and higher.
✅ Fixed
Bugs that were squashed in this release:
- Pagination is now prevented from influencing the fetching of events for the Events List and Featured Venue widgets.
- Plugin now shows the correct cost on the Summary View for events that do not have event tickets or RSVPs yet have a cost value set.
- Ensured “Summary” gets translated correctly in view selector.
- No longer enqueue scripts (and localized scripts) if they’re already enqueued.
- No longer attempt to enqueue scripts too early preventing them from being enqueued later.
🔧 Tweaks
A few tweaks we made under the hood:
- Changed the text of the Featured Venue Widget “view more” link.
- Added empty alt tag to featured images in the map view if user doesn’t explicitly define one.
