Maintenance Release

This release features an update to the design of the Countdown Widget and custom map pins in map view.

This is a “maintenance” release, meaning it should be a super smooth update but, as always, please backup your site and database as you would with any other WordPress update.

✨ New

New features included in this release:

• Create custom map pins in the WordPress Customizer for map view with a custom Google Maps API key.
• We added filters tribe_events_pro_shortcodes_countdown_widget_class and tribe_events_views_v2_countdown_widget_args_to_context
• We’ve added new widget styles for the Event Countdown widget.

✅ Fixed

Bugs that were squashed in this release:

• We changed the “Hide Location Search” helper text for V2 views only, so that it applies to map view included in Events Calendar Pro.
• We corrected the override folder location in week view template files.
• We resolved an issue on sites where Virtual Events is active and the “Recurring event instances” option in the plugin settings is enabled to only show the next upcoming instance of a recurring event. The conflict impacted the appearance of the V2 Events List widget.
