Event Tickets 5.1.1 adds compatibility for WordPress 5.7 and jQuery 3.5.1. Additionally this release includes improvements to the stability of the plugin.

This is a “maintenance” release, meaning it should be a super smooth update but, as always, please back up your site and database as you would with any other WordPress update.

✅ Fixed

The following items were fixed in this release:

• “Ticketed” and “Unticketed” filters in the Event list are now bolded when selected.
• We fixed an issue on some hosts that was causing tickets and RSVPs to show as “Sold Out” even when they were not.
• Added compatibility fixes with MySQL 8.0 to prevent double quotes in our queries.
• We turned off creating associated users for new attendees which was introduced in Event Tickets 5.1.0, but you can filter tribe_tickets_attendee_create_user_from_email and return true to turn it back on.
