Help Docs Software Software Portal Manage your subscriptions

Manage your subscriptions

Learn how to manage your subscription from the customer portal, including reviewing plan details, checking renewal dates, comparing tiers, upgrading or downgrading your plan, managing connected sites, and updating payment methods.

Prerequisites

Before managing your subscription:

  • Log in to the customer portal
  • Confirm your account includes at least one active subscription

Opening the Subscriptions Page

To manage your subscription:

  1. Log in to the customer portal
  2. Select Subscriptions from the sidebar
  3. Locate the product you want to manage
  4. Select a subscription tier to open the Subscription Tier page

The Subscription Tier page is the main area used to review your plan details, downloads, services, renewal information, and connected sites.

Reviewing Subscription Details

The Subscription Details section displays important information about your current plan, including:

  • Product name
  • Subscription tier
  • Annual pricing
  • Subscription start date
  • Next renewal date
  • Total annual cost

The Dashboard homepage also includes a Next Renewal tile showing the number of days remaining before your next billing cycle.

Renewals are aligned to your account’s unified renewal cycle, so renewal dates may differ from your original purchase date.

Reviewing What’s Included In Your Tier

Your subscription tier determines which downloads, features, services, and site allowances are available on your account.

Downloads

The Downloads section lists all plugins, themes, or add-ons included with your tier.

Each item includes:

  • File size
  • Last updated date
  • Minimum WordPress version
  • Minimum PHP version

Use the version dropdown to download either the latest release or an older version if needed.

Services

Some tiers include bundled services with usage allowances.

For example:

  • Event import quotas
  • Premium service allowances
  • Additional support features

Sites Management

The Sites Management section shows:

  • Active site usage
  • Total site allowance
  • Connected domains
  • Activation dates

You can:

  • Add a new site
  • Remove an existing site
  • Purchase additional site capacity

Comparing Subscription Tiers

You can compare available plans directly from the Subscription Tier page.

  1. Scroll to the Actions section
  2. Select Upgrade Plan

The Change Plan page displays:

  • Available tiers
  • Included features
  • Site allowances
  • Pricing differences

Higher tiers display an Everything In {Previous Tier} section so you can quickly see which additional features are included.

Upgrading Your Subscription

Upgrade your subscription when you need:

  • Additional features
  • Higher site limits
  • Premium add-ons
  • Expanded support options

To upgrade:

  1. Open the Subscription Tier page
  2. Scroll to the Actions section
  3. Select Upgrade Plan
  4. Choose the new tier
  5. Select Confirm & Checkout
  6. Complete checkout

Upgrade costs are prorated against your current billing cycle.

After upgrading, your existing Unified License Key automatically reflects the new tier and associated features.

Some newly included premium add-ons may still need to be installed separately on your WordPress site.

Downgrading Your Subscription

Downgrade your subscription if you no longer need your current feature set or site capacity.

Before downgrading:

  • Confirm your active site count fits within the lower tier’s limits
  • Remove excess connected sites if necessary
  • Review which premium features may no longer be available

To downgrade:

  1. Open the Subscription Tier page
  2. Scroll to the Actions section
  3. Select Upgrade Plan
  4. Choose the lower-tier plan
  5. Select Confirm Downgrade
  6. Complete checkout

When the downgrade takes effect:

  • Renewal pricing updates automatically
  • Features exclusive to higher tiers are removed
  • Tier-specific premium add-ons may stop functioning

Your Unified License Key remains active after the downgrade.

Managing Payment Methods

The Payment Method section displays the card currently used for subscription renewals.

To update your payment method:

  1. Open the Subscription Tier page
  2. Scroll to Payment Method
  3. Select Change
  4. Add or select a saved payment method

The updated method applies to future renewals.

What Happens Next

Subscription changes apply immediately. Updates to:

  • tiers
  • site limits
  • downloads
  • payment methods
  • renewal pricing

appear throughout the portal right away.

New purchases and subscription changes are prorated so subscriptions continue renewing together on the same billing cycle.

Troubleshooting

I Can’t Add Another Site

Your subscription has reached its activation limit. Either:

  • remove an unused connected site
  • or purchase additional site capacity

My License Still Shows The Old Tier

Refresh the license status from your WordPress site’s license settings page to sync the updated subscription information.

I Don’t See A Subscription I Purchased

Confirm you’re logged in using the same email address used during checkout. If the subscription is still missing, contact Support.

The Download Button Isn’t Working

Downloads are only available for active subscriptions. If your subscription has expired, renew it before attempting another download.

The Renewal Date Looks Incorrect

Renewals are aligned to your account’s shared renewal cycle rather than individual purchase dates. If the date still appears incorrect, contact Support.
