Help Docs Control Panel Guides The Ultimate Guide to the InterWorx Control Panel (2025) Logging into Interworx Web Panel

Logging into Interworx Web Panel

The first step to working with your new InterWorx Web Panel server is logging into the control panel. You can login into main admin account through Nodeworx using the administrator user credentials, or you can login into Siteworx as one of the users that you have created to manage an individual domain. We’ll start with logging in as the administrative user.

Logging in as root
Unlike WHM/cPanel, InterWorx does not use the “root” user to login to the server. The email address you provide at the time of order will become the administrative user, along with a password provided through your Liquid Web account. You can still run cron jobs and perform other tasks as “root”, but instead of “root”, you’ll now login with the administrator’s email address.

Logging into Nodeworx as the Administrator

To log in as the administrator, you’ll need the credentials for the administrator user. These credentials were provided to you via a One-Time Secret in your Liquid Web account.

  1. Open your browser and go to your server’s IP address at port 2443, for example, https://123.123.123.123:2443.
  2. On the login screen, enter the administrator username and enter the password provided to you by Liquid Web.
  3. Click Login and you’ll be taken to the control panel to begin administering your server.

Logging into SiteWorx as a Domain User

You can login to SiteWorx (the domain control panel of InterWorx) as a domain user once you’ve created a new domain. You’ll use the username you created for the domain and the password you entered when you created the user. If you’ve forgotten the password, you can reset it by logging into InterWorx as the administrator. See Resetting a User’s Password in InterWorx Web Panel.

  1. Open your browser and go to your server’s IP address or domain name at port 2443 and the /siteworx flag, for example: https://123.123.123.123:2443/siteworx or https://mydomain:2443/siteworx.
  2. On the login screen, enter the username and password you created for the domain that you wish to control.
  3. Click Login and you’ll be taken to the control panel for your domain so that you can begin adding content (like installing a CMS or uploading your website) and managing your domain.
