How to Add a New Product to Your Account
This guide explains how to add a new product subscription from your customer portal, choose a tier, set the number of sites, and complete checkout.
Prerequisites
- You must be logged into the customer portal.
- Have a payment method ready, or confirm that the card on file is current.
- Know how many sites you’ll need the new product to cover.
Open the Add New Subscription page
- Log in to the customer portal.
- Open the page in either of these ways:
- From the Dashboard, select the Add New Product card under Quick Actions.
- From the Subscriptions page, select + Add a new subscription in the top right.
Choose a Product and Tier
- Select the product family you want (for example, The Events Calendar, Kadence, Give, or LearnDash)
- Review the available tiers
- Select a tier
Higher tiers include everything from the tier below. Look for the Everything in [tier] badge to confirm inherited features.
Set the Number of Sites
- Use the + and − controls to adjust how many sites the subscription should cover.
- The Your Selection sidebar updates automatically as you change the count.
Add more Products (optional)
- Scroll down to expand another product card and add a second product to the same order.
- Each product you add appears in the Your Selection sidebar with its own quantity controls.
- Select the trash icon next to any item to remove it, or Clear all at the top of the sidebar to start over.
Review and Check Out
- Confirm the items and quantities in the Your Selection sidebar.
- If you already have an active subscription, the final amount is prorated to match your existing renewal date, and any volume discount is recalculated based on your total site count.
- Tax is calculated at checkout and added to the total.
- Select Proceed to Checkout to complete your payment.
After Purchase
Once payment is processed, the new product appears on your Subscriptions page and is added under your existing Unified License Key. You can download the plugin or theme files immediately from the new tier’s Downloads section, then activate them on your WordPress site using your license key. Future renewals for this product align with your existing renewal date. After purchasing, install and activate the product on your WordPress site using your Unified License Key.
Troubleshooting
The product I’m interested in isn’t listed.
The Add a New Subscription page only shows products available in your account region. If the product is part of an existing tier you already own, you don’t need to buy it separately. Contact Support if you can’t find what you’re looking for.
I don’t see a higher tier as an option.
If you already own a tier of this product, use the Upgrade Plan button on that subscription instead of buying a new one. See Manage your subscriptions for the full upgrade flow.
The price in my cart looks lower than expected.
If you have an active subscription, your purchase is prorated for the days remaining until your next renewal. The full annual price applies at the next renewal date.
Checkout failed at payment.
Confirm your card details are current and that your bank isn’t blocking the charge. Try a different payment method, or open an existing subscription and update the card under Payment Method first.
I need an invoice before paying.
The portal only generates invoices after a successful payment. For pre-payment quotes, contact Support.
