Website Management in Siteworx
SiteWorx provides tools for managing your domains and their DNS records. These settings control how your domains are configured on the server and direct traffic for services like your website and email.
The Domains section in SiteWorx is used to control the domains associated with your hosting account. Common tasks include adding secondary domains to host additional websites, creating subdomains like shop.yourdomain.com, and setting up pointer domains to redirect one domain to another.
The DNS Records section gives you direct control over your domain’s zone file. This allows you to connect your domain to third-party services or customize your mail routing. You can manage all common record types, including A records to point your domain to an IP address, CNAME records to alias a subdomain to another service, MX records to designate mail servers, and TXT records for verification or security policies like SPF.
The articles in this guide explain how to perform common domain and DNS management tasks within SiteWorx.
