Adding IP Addresses Manually in WHM
To avoid IP address denial, add addresses manually in WHM after creating them in your Liquid Web account.

| The following instructions are only to add addresses manually in WHM after you’ve created them in your Liquid Web account. Adding them only in WHM will result in an IP address denial. Please see our article Adding IP Addresses to Your Server for instructions on how to add them in your account. |
Adding an IP address manually in WHM allows you to avoid the restart required by adding them in your Liquid Web Account. This is available in the case that you do not wish to have any downtime on your sites while the IP address is added to your server.
- Log into WHM.
- Click the IP Functions link from the home page.
- Select Add a New IP Address.
- Enter the new IP address or address range. Select 255.255.255.0 as the subnet mask for the IP address. Click Submit to add the IP address.
