Participating in local events and supporting the Lansing community isn’t just something the Liquid Web™ team does casually – we’re proud of our Lansing roots and have a genuine desire to enhance our community. While we have an abundance of fun at local events, such as the Lansing Board of Water & Light Chili Cook Off (we are determined to win this year!), we also strive to support scholarship programs and start up companies. To that end, we’re thrilled to see how rapidly the number of successful startups in Michigan is growing – and excited to help it grow even more.
Startups have been vital to the health of the Michigan economy in recent years and have helped to retain Michigan’s workforce. At Liquid Web™ we’re proud to support the entrepreneurial movement through our Incubator Program. The Liquid Web™ Incubator Program provides help to startup ventures and entrepreneurs to get up and running through free hosting, infrastructure and mentoring during the critical beginning stages of the business.
Benefits of the Liquid Web Incubator Program include:
- Up to $25,000 in Free Hosting
- Heroic Support® Team Available 24/7/365
- 24/7 Proactive Monitoring
- Cross Promotional Opportunities
- Infrastructure, Software and Database Services
- High Availability and Scalability Planning
A number of startups have already teamed up with Liquid Web™ through the program, including two in particular, Furlocity, a comprehensive booking engine for searching, comparing and reviewing kennels, and Tucknologies, an intellectual property development company. Tucknologies, in the midst of developing custom software, websites, marketing plans and more for their customers, was enthusiastic about our program.
“We’re very excited about this program,” Tucknologies Owner Craig Tucker said. “[It] will allow us to produce better websites, mobile applications and custom software for our clients; with a piece of mind that only comes from a top-level enterprise host.”
We’re proud of all the businesses that are part of our Incubator Program and pleased with the successes we’ve seen throughout Michigan. Our goal of supporting and furthering the development of entrepreneurs and startups is feasible through programs like these. With that in mind, we’re always on the lookout for more entrepreneurs with great ideas!
