We just wrapped the first round of a new webinar series covering Kadence, LearnDash, The Events Calendar, and Give. Every six weeks, we’re talking through best practices, what’s new, and tips for getting more out of the tools you already use.
This first round was four separate sessions, one for each product. Going forward, we’re combining them into a single session that covers all four products at once.
If you missed any of the sessions, or want more detail than we had room for, here’s the full recap.
Shared updates across all four products
A few updates apply to every product:
- Roadmaps are public again. You’ll be able to see what we’ve done, what we’re working on, and where we’re going next.
- Feature requests are coming back too. Submit ideas and upvote what matters to you.
- We’re connecting our products to each other. If something works well in one product, we’re working to bring it to the others instead of building it from scratch each time.
More ways we’re staying in touch
We’re rolling out a few new ways to keep you in the loop:
- These webinar sessions will run every six weeks
- We’ll also publish a blog recap for anyone who can’t join a webinar live
- Feature request boards are coming back for all four products
- We’re building a dedicated page to house the latest product updates
- …and a lot more
Our newsletter is the easiest way to catch all of this in one place and to hear about each new communication channel we launch.

Kadence
What we’re focused on: building the best WordPress theme and block experience possible. Kadence remains the most accessible WordPress theme available, independently verified, and we’re continuing to invest here as accessibility standards keep evolving.
- A full site editor is in active development, giving you centralized control over things like border radius, colors, fonts, and button styles applied consistently across your whole site
- Coming soon: Kadence Blocks will be getting a Design System. You’ll be able to configure style and block presets to use across your site, making it easy to implement site-wide style changes in a few clicks.
- We’ve added support for the WordPress Abilities API and MCP, so you can connect your Kadence site to Claude or another AI tool and build with it directly
- We launched a new starter template called Gilbert, built for agencies and freelancers who want a service and portfolio focused site
LearnDash
What we’re focused on: making courses built in LearnDash carry real, verifiable weight, and giving course creators more ways to connect with the people taking their courses.
- Certificates are built to be used beyond LearnDash, so learners can add them to a resume or LinkedIn profile
- A new certificate builder is coming, with precise drag and drop placement, snap to grid alignment, and the ability to share and verify certificates publicly
- Certificates will be stored by completion date, opening the door to recertification, like annual compliance training, without duplicating an entire course
- Community-building features are on the way, alongside the course tools you already rely on
The Events Calendar
What we’re focused on: making it faster and easier to set up and run an event, without needing a developer to get there.
- Recurring events with tickets is getting a much needed overhaul. Today, setting up tickets for a recurring event means converting it to a single event and attaching a ticket manually, event by event. We’re replacing that with a default ticket that applies across all instances, with the option to override price or quantity for any date
- We’re building no-code controls so you can customize the look of your events without needing a developer
Give
What we’re focused on: making Give flexible enough to support the many different ways nonprofits actually raise money and run their organizations, wherever their donors are.
- Embeddable forms are coming. You’ll be able to build a donation form in Give and place it on any website, not just WordPress. The entire donation happens right there in the embed, with no redirect, and every donation flows straight into your Give account
- Donation forms just got more flexible: build a form and drop it on a page, no extra layer required
- Ticketing in Give is getting a major upgrade by connecting to our existing Events Calendar ticketing tools, bringing waitlists, check-in apps, and custom fields along with it
We loved getting to show you what we’re working on, and we can’t wait to see you at the next webinar session in a few weeks. Keep an eye on your inbox for the invite.
