Prerequisites
Before downloading plugin or theme files:
- Create a full backup of your WordPress site before replacing the current version
- Log in to the customer portal
- Confirm your subscription is active
- Confirm your subscription tier includes downloadable files
Opening the Downloads Section
To access downloads:
- Log in to the customer portal
- Select Subscriptions from the sidebar
- Open the subscription tier you want to manage
- Scroll to the Downloads section
The Downloads section lists all plugins, themes, and add-ons included with your subscription tier.
Understanding the Downloads Section
Each download row includes:
- Plugin, add-on, or theme name
- available version selector
- file size
- release date
- minimum WordPress version
- minimum PHP version
The number displayed beside Downloads shows how many files are included with the subscription tier.
If a plugin, add-on, or theme is missing, it may belong to a higher subscription tier.
Downloading the Latest Version
To download the newest release:
- Locate the plugin or theme
- Confirm the version selector is set to Latest
- Select Download
The file downloads as a ZIP archive.
Always use the latest version on production sites unless you have a specific compatibility reason not to.
Downloading an Older Version
Older versions may be useful for:
- staging environments
- rollback testing
- compatibility troubleshooting
- legacy WordPress or PHP environments
To download an older release:
- Confirm your subscription tier includes downloadable files
- Open the version dropdown beside the plugin or theme
- Select the version you want
- Review the listed WordPress and PHP requirements
- Select Download
Older versions may not include the latest security updates or bug fixes.

What Happens Next

The Downloads section is primarily used for:
- first-time installations
- manual installations
- staging environments
- rollback scenarios
- offline environments
Troubleshooting
The Downloaded File is a Folder Instead of a ZIP
- Some browsers automatically extract ZIP archives after download.
- WordPress requires the compressed ZIP file for installation.
- Recompress the folder into a ZIP archive or disable automatic extraction in your browser settings.
The Downloads Section Is Empty
Refresh the page first.
If the section remains empty:
- confirm your subscription is active
- confirm the subscription tier includes downloads
A Plugin I Need Isn’t Listed
The plugin or add-on may belong to a higher subscription tier.
Compare available plans from the subscription management area if additional products are needed.
Download Isn’t Starting
Check whether your browser is blocking downloads or pop-ups from the customer portal.
If needed:
- refresh the page
- try an incognito/private window
- try another browser
The Plugin Won’t Install
Confirm your environment meets the listed:
- minimum WordPress version
- minimum PHP version
Installing below the required versions may cause installation or activation failures.
Premium Features Or Updates Aren’t Working
The product may not be activated with your Unified License Key yet.
Activate the license from the plugin or theme settings inside WordPress.
