Manage Your Portal Account
Learn how to manage your account settings, profile information, email notifications, saved payment methods, and billing preferences from the customer portal.
Prerequisites
Before managing your account:
- Log in to the customer portal
- Confirm you can access the email address associated with your account
Understanding the Dashboard
The Dashboard provides a central overview of your account and quick access to common tasks.
From the Dashboard, you can:
- Review subscriptions
- Open invoices
- Access license management
- Review payment methods
- Open subscription details
- Add subscriptions
- Contact Support
Use the left sidebar to navigate between:
- Dashboard
- License
- Subscriptions
- Invoices
- Settings
- Support
The Dashboard is intended as a starting point for managing your account and subscriptions.
Opening Settings
Most account management tasks are handled from the Settings area.
To open it:
- Log in to the customer portal
- Select Settings from the left sidebar
The Settings area includes:
- Profile
- Account
- Notifications
You can switch between sections using either:
- the sidebar
- or the tabs at the top of the page
Updating Your Profile Information
The Profile section controls your personal account information.
You can update:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Company name
- Phone number
Updating Your Name or Email Address
- Open Settings > Profile
- Update the appropriate fields
- Select Save Changes
Your email address is used for:
- account notifications
- renewal reminders
- receipts
- password reset messages
Updating Company or Phone Information
Company and phone number fields are optional.
Phone numbers should use international formatting when possible.
Managing Notification Preferences
The Notifications section controls which automated emails are sent to your account.
To update notification preferences:
- Open Settings > Notifications
- Review the available notification types
- Select or clear checkboxes as needed
- Select Save Preferences
Examples of optional notifications include:
- renewal reminders
- account-related updates
Critical account notifications are always sent and cannot be disabled, including:
- password resets
- security alerts
- payment receipts
Reviewing Account Settings
The Account tab includes three primary sections:
- Change Password
- Billing Details
- Payment Methods
Changing Your Password
Open the Change Password section and follow the on-screen prompts to update your password.
Reviewing Billing Details
The Billing Details section displays:
- contact name
- business name
- billing address
- VAT or Tax ID
Changes made here apply to future invoices.
Managing Saved Payment Methods
The Payment Methods section displays all saved cards on your account.
You can:
- add a payment method
- remove a payment method
- assign a default card
The default payment method is used for automatic renewals.
What Happens Next
Changes to your account settings apply immediately throughout the portal.
Updated information may affect:
- renewal reminders
- invoice details
- account communications
- subscription renewals
Future notifications and receipts use your updated email address automatically.
Troubleshooting
I Don’t See The Settings Area
Confirm you are logged into the customer portal using the same email address associated with your account.
Save Changes Or Save Preferences Isn’t Working
Refresh the page and try again.
If the issue continues:
- try another browser
- use an incognito/private window
- disable browser extensions temporarily
I’m Still Receiving Notifications I Disabled
Recent emails already queued for delivery may still arrive briefly after preferences are updated.
If notifications continue after that, contact Support.
My Updated Email Address Isn’t Receiving Notifications
Check your spam or junk folder and confirm the email address was saved correctly.
I Can’t Remove My Default Payment Method
You must first:
- Add another payment method
- Set the new method as Default
- Remove the old payment method
I See “Error Fetching Data”
Refresh the page or log out and back in. If the issue continues, contact Support.
