Manage Your Portal Account

Account
3 min read

Learn how to manage your account settings, profile information, email notifications, saved payment methods, and billing preferences from the customer portal.

Prerequisites

Before managing your account:

  • Log in to the customer portal
  • Confirm you can access the email address associated with your account

Understanding the Dashboard

The Dashboard provides a central overview of your account and quick access to common tasks.

From the Dashboard, you can:

  • Review subscriptions
  • Open invoices
  • Access license management
  • Review payment methods
  • Open subscription details
  • Add subscriptions
  • Contact Support

Use the left sidebar to navigate between:

  • Dashboard
  • License
  • Subscriptions
  • Invoices
  • Settings
  • Support

The Dashboard is intended as a starting point for managing your account and subscriptions.

Opening Settings

Most account management tasks are handled from the Settings area.

To open it:

  1. Log in to the customer portal
  2. Select Settings from the left sidebar

The Settings area includes:

  • Profile
  • Account
  • Notifications

You can switch between sections using either:

  • the sidebar
  • or the tabs at the top of the page

Updating Your Profile Information

The Profile section controls your personal account information.

You can update:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Company name
  • Phone number

Updating Your Name or Email Address

  1. Open Settings > Profile
  2. Update the appropriate fields
  3. Select Save Changes

Your email address is used for:

  • account notifications
  • renewal reminders
  • receipts
  • password reset messages

Updating Company or Phone Information

Company and phone number fields are optional.

Phone numbers should use international formatting when possible.

Managing Notification Preferences

The Notifications section controls which automated emails are sent to your account.

To update notification preferences:

  1. Open Settings > Notifications
  2. Review the available notification types
  3. Select or clear checkboxes as needed
  4. Select Save Preferences

Examples of optional notifications include:

  • renewal reminders
  • account-related updates

Critical account notifications are always sent and cannot be disabled, including:

  • password resets
  • security alerts
  • payment receipts

Reviewing Account Settings

The Account tab includes three primary sections:

  • Change Password
  • Billing Details
  • Payment Methods

Changing Your Password

Open the Change Password section and follow the on-screen prompts to update your password.

Reviewing Billing Details

The Billing Details section displays:

  • contact name
  • business name
  • billing address
  • VAT or Tax ID

Changes made here apply to future invoices.

Managing Saved Payment Methods

The Payment Methods section displays all saved cards on your account.

You can:

  • add a payment method
  • remove a payment method
  • assign a default card

The default payment method is used for automatic renewals.

What Happens Next

Changes to your account settings apply immediately throughout the portal.

Updated information may affect:

  • renewal reminders
  • invoice details
  • account communications
  • subscription renewals

Future notifications and receipts use your updated email address automatically.

Troubleshooting

I Don’t See The Settings Area

Confirm you are logged into the customer portal using the same email address associated with your account.

Save Changes Or Save Preferences Isn’t Working

Refresh the page and try again.

If notifications continue after that, contact Support.

My Updated Email Address Isn’t Receiving Notifications

Check your spam or junk folder and confirm the email address was saved correctly.

I Can’t Remove My Default Payment Method

You must first:

  1. Add another payment method
  2. Set the new method as Default
