How to Add More Sites to Your Subscription
This guide explains how to increase the site limit on your current subscription. If you have reached your maximum number of activations, you can upgrade your plan to accommodate additional domains. This allows you to manage more sites under a single license key without needing to purchase a separate subscription.
Prerequisites
- You must be logged into your account portal as the Account Owner.
- You must have an active subscription; expired subscriptions cannot be upgraded until they are renewed.
- Have a valid payment method saved to your account to cover the prorated cost of the upgrade.
Upgrade Your Site Limit
Upgrade your plan tier
Use this method to move from your current plan (e.g., 1-site) to a higher tier (e.g., 10-site or Unlimited).
- Log in to your Account Portal.
- Navigate to the Subscriptions tab in the sidebar.
- Locate the product and click Active >.
- Under the Sites Management section, click on Buy More Sites.
- Click the + button to add more sites.
- Click on the Checkout button and continue placing the order.
After You Upgrade
Once the transaction is complete, your existing Unified License Key remains the same, but its limit is instantly increased. You can immediately proceed to connect a site to your subscription for your new domains. You do not need to re-enter the key on sites that are already active.
Troubleshooting
Will I be charged the full price of the new plan immediately?
In most cases, you only pay a prorated amount. This is the difference between your old plan and the new plan for the days remaining until your next renewal date. Your full new rate will apply starting from your next scheduled renewal.
I upgraded, but my WordPress site still says I’ve reached my limit.
The license server may need a few minutes to sync. To force refresh your license, navigate to the License tab in your WordPress dashboard and sign out your license. Re-enter your Unified License Key and click on sign in.
Can I downgrade back to a lower site count later?
Yes, but downgrades usually take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Note that you must remove a site from your subscription to get below the lower limit before the downgrade can be finalized.
