How to cancel a SSL certificate

This guide shows you how to cancel or delete an SSL certificate for your hosting service directly within the Nexcess Client Portal (sites-portal.liquidweb.com).

What you need

  • Your sites-portal.liquidweb.com username and password.
  • An existing SSL certificate attached to your Nexcess service.

Method

Overdue Invoices
If you have overdue invoices for the service you wish to cancel, the option to cancel will be unavailable. For more information, refer to How to view account invoices, How to pay an invoice with a credit card, and How to pay invoices with PayPal. 

  1. Log in to sites-portal.liquidweb.com.
  2. From the portal, click SSL. 

  3. Locate the SSL certificate you wish to cancel. From the menu toggle, click Delete.
  4. Click Delete or Request Cancellation to confirm, as appropriate.
  5. If prompted to provide feedback, complete all required fields, then click Submit.
