Maintenance Windows and Outages

Find info on scheduled maintenance or a current server outage. Learn how we notify you and where to check our official system status page.

While we’d all like our servers to available 24/7 without any outages, it is sometimes necessary to take servers offline for routine maintenance. This maintenance might involve updates to keep the server platform operating properly or even improvements that is better overall performance for our customers. Common reasons for scheduled maintenance events include:

  • Hardware changes
  • Moving hosts (Datacenter consolidation)
  • Faulty hardware

At Liquid Web, we try to schedule these maintenance events for times are that generally less active for most of our customers and will give you advanced notice via an email sent to the owner of the account.

You can also visit the my.liquidweb.com portal to check for upcoming, scheduled maintenance, as well as updates throughout the maintenance window.

We report widespread outages and significant maintenance on our status pages. Please visit status.liquidweb.com for Liquid Web, hosting and status.nexcess.net for our Nexcess platform.

If you see issues with your server after the scheduled maintenance window is complete, or after a reported outage, reach out to Support via our Support Center.
