Nexcess Managed WooCommerce Email Management
Email management for a WooCommerce store is divided into two key areas: transactional emails sent from your e-shop and standard email hosting for your domain’s mailboxes. It is important to understand the distinction between these two.
- Transactional Emails: These are automated messages your store sends to customers, such as order confirmations, shipping updates for physical goods, or download links for digital products. These are configured within WordPress and WooCommerce. For reliable delivery, they should be sent through a dedicated SMTP service.
- Email Hosting (Mailboxes): Our Nexcess Managed WooCommerce platform is highly optimized for e-commerce performance and does not include email hosting by default. To create mailboxes for your domain (e.g.,
support@your-store.com), you must purchase a separate email hosting service or use a third-party provider.
