AutoRenew for SSL Certificates
One of the most important parts of running an online business is maintaining the security of your site. One facet of that security is using SSL certificates to encrypt communications between the server and your customers. However, like most web services, SSL certificates need to be renewed regularly to stay relevant and verified (generally every year or two). Liquid Web has made the process of renewing your SSL certificates much simpler by enabling AutoRenew for SSL certificates.
Enabling AutoRenew when Ordering
You can enable AutoRenew when you order your SSL by checking the box below the duration of the certificate. The certificate will renew for the same duration as the original order.
Enabling AutoRenew for an Existing SSL
If you’ve previously ordered an SSL and would like to enable AutoRenew, just check the box next to the domain for which you want to enable AutoRenew. The certificate will renew within 45 days of the expiration date for the same duration as the original certificate.

Automating the SSL Process with WHM/cPanel
If you manage your Linux server using WHM/cPanel, you may be able to automate the entire SSL process (generating the CSR, ordering the certificate, verifying the certificate, installing the certificate, and renewing the certificate). When ordering the SSL, just choose the Automated method, select the server and domain, verify the contact information and other options for the certificate, click Purchase SSL Certificate and the system will take care of the rest. If there are any issues with the process, the system will notify our Support Team so that they can provide additional assistance. (NOTE: you may need to set up a Remote Access Key or Remote API to enable this functionality. For more information, see API Tokens for Remote Access in WHM).
