User Level Support Passphrases
Liquid Web is dedicated to your account security. In the past, we’ve used “account level” support passphrases as a secondary measure to guarantee that any support requests we receive are verified to be legitimate. We’re taking the next step in support security by making use of User Level passphrases. Rather than sharing a single passphrase with all of your secondary users, each user will be assigned a passphrase that is unique to them and can be used to contact our Support team. Since the passphrase will be associated with a specific user, you will also be able to assign various levels of support access and track support requests per user. This allows you to create users that can access support without being able to make Account Level changes.
Finding your User Level Passphrase
- Login into your Liquid Web Account.
- At the top of the screen, click the Support Icon.

- In the Support drop-down, click My Support Passphrase.

- This opens the User Profile screen, showing your user details, including your support passphrase. The support passphrase is hidden for your security. Click the eye icon to view the passphrase.

Changing your User Level Passphrase
- Follow the steps above to view your Support Passphrase.
- Click the Edit button on your User page to edit any of the user details, including your support passphrase.

- Update any of the fields that you want to change. Click Save to save your new details.
