Accessing the Acronis Web Console is as simple as opening your web browser. Once you’ve received your login credentials from Liquid Web, you’re ready to open your browser and start.

  1. Go to cloud.acronis.com
  2. Log in using the provided credentials.

Setup Your Backup Plan

Now that you’ve logged into the Acronis Web Console, all you need to do is select a backup plan for your VM machines that fits your business requirements. We’ve taken care of getting the VM environment configured with Acronis. You just need to specify the backup frequency and retention for each of your VMs.

  1. Select a VM. You can actually select multiple VMs if you would like them to follow the same backup plan.
  2. Select the “Backup” option from panel on the right side of the screen. If you have multiple VMs selected, “Backup” will be the only option available.

Once you click the Backup button, you’ll get a pop-up window that will present you with 4 options for the backup plan:

  1. The first field will give you the option of what to backup. You can choose between Entire Machine or Disks/Volumes. The best option, especially for restorations if needed in the future, is to use the Entire Machine option.
  2. The second field allows you to set the frequency, day and time for when your backups will run. Note: There are “Start Condition” options at the bottom, however they can be ignored.
  3. The third field allows you to set how long to retain backups for.
  4. The final option allows you to turn on Encryption for your backups.
