ANTI-VIRUS PROTECTION
ESET NOD32* [optional, +$10/month] for Windows Servers scans all files that are launched, opened and/or modified and disinfects or deletes all infected files. Furthermore, suspicious files and content are isolated in a quarantine area prior to undergoing further analysis.
SECURE RDP
RDP over SSL helps increase RDPs security by preventing "Man In The Middle (MITM) attacks" This prevents an attacker from being able to intercept data between the Server and Client by giving the Client the ability to authenticate a server's identity. RDP over SSL greatly enhances the security of your terminal services.
TCP HARDENING
SYN Attack Protection is enabled on your server that monitors incoming traffic and will modify the TCP/IP stack automatically if a SYN attack is in progress. This helps lessen the effects of the attack by lowering the time-out connection responses on your system during the attack. The TCP/IP stack returns back to normal values once the attack is over.
DoS-EVASIVE
Liquid Web's custom DoS-Evasive script monitors all incoming connections. This script helps stop Denial of Service (DoS) attacks by temporarily blocking IPs that are attacking any of your systems resources like Web or Mail Services. All legitimate traffic requests are allowed, while every traffic that is determined to be harmful is blocked.
BFD (BRUTE FORCE DETECTION)
Liquid Web's custom Brute Force Detection (BFD) monitors your system logs for any failed login attempts. Remote Desktop Connections, Microsoft FTP, MSSQL, and NTLM connections are all logged and monitored by our BFD script. If there repeated login failures the IP is blocked temporarily from accessing your server.
